Relocating Cambodian casino publicizes anticipated opening aim

Century Entertainment International Holdings Limited has reportedly announced that it intends to launch high-end gaming table operations at a new casino in southwest Cambodia before the end of March.

According to a report from Inside Asian Gaming, the Hong Kong-listed firm revealed that the coming facility is set to debut in the Dara Sakor investment zone located along the coast of Koh Kong Province complete with 40 mass-market gaming tables in addition to 55 VIP counterparts. The source detailed that this 113,000 sq ft venue will eventually also offer a collection of 80 slots as well as a nightclub, a spa and a Chinese restaurant.

Century Entertainment International Holdings Limited, which was formerly known as Amax International Holdings Limited, reportedly inked a deal in 2019 that saw it pay almost $15.48 million so as to obtain a five-year license to run a gambling-friendly property in the seaside resort city of Sihanoukville. However, this agreement signed with the Lion King Entertainment Company Limited entity of its Chief Executive Officer, Ng Man Sun, was purportedly put on hold last April after Cambodia shuttered all of its casinos owing to the coronavirus pandemic.
